A Tribute to our Founder
Reverend Fr. Paul Kidangan, the founder of “Dulal” left for the heavenly abode in the early hours of Wednesday, 1st of April 2015 at the age of 70. Through an energetic combination of his public participation and strategic philanthropy, Fr. Paul left a clear and lasting mark on the life of the tribal community and people working with Dulal. He was the key in making Dulal a professional social agency with an eye on the outcome for people. He did it from compassion, to serve people in a way so they could use their God-given gifts and find strength out of poverty.
Father! Your end, which is endless, is as a snowflake dissolving in the pure air. Your memory will live on in our hearts and minds forever. We post this tribute to you to honor your life and the path that you have shown to us. You will continue to be our driving force.
Ode to the force within!
The Adivasi is very much like a free bird- a free spirit; a true child of nature, and Nature is the best nurturer and healer. Recuperation, regaining of strength and control comes from within, induced by the force that is there in every living being! Cheers to the force within!
This is the spirit DULAL upholds in its interactions with the Adivasi community.

Despite noting that important progress has been made, the 2012 Millennium Development Goals Report recognizes that societal and ecological imbalances still cast an ominous shadow over our future. In the words of Mathis Wackernagel, Global Footprint Network President:
“Climate change is not the problem. Erosion, water scarcity, desertification and overfishing are also not. These are all just symptoms of a dominant theme: We are demanding more than the Earth can sustainably provide,”
Dulal focuses on Natural Resources Management for Sustainable Development which relates the challenges we face locally to a global context in which effective management is the cornerstone to humanity’s survival.
